Mila’s Lechon was founded in the late 60s by the couple Serafin and Antonina Cesario. What started as a modest lechon business in La Loma became a beloved industry leader, with eight branches in Quezon City. From its humble origins, Mila’s has grown to cater to deliveries not only throughout Metro Manila but also to provinces as distant as Ilocos, Baguio, and Quezon.

The journey began as a means to support the couple's corn and sari-sari store income, evolving into a major industry that many attempted to rival. Named after Aling Nena’s youngest daughter Milagros in 1966, the struggling business they nurtured from infancy now stands as a testament to Filipino taste and culinary excellence. Mila’s Lechon & Restaurant initially focused on offering crispy, sumptuous, and juicy tender native lechon pork that lasts longer than usual.

Later, the venture expanded to include the preparation of the best-roasted calf in town, featuring tender meat marinated with various spices and wines, creating a mouthwatering experience, complemented by an original lechon baka gravy. To guarantee quality, Mila’s Lechon undertook the breeding of its own native hogs, ensuring they are raised for one purpose alone – to provide customers with the best of the best lechon baboy in the country.

This commitment to excellence has been recognized consistently since 1972, as Mila’s Lechon continues to receive accolades as the Best Lechon Maker. The heart of Mila’s success lies in a unique blend of hard work, love, and a steadfast belief in "sipag, tiyaga, tipid, lakas ng loob, swerte, at tiwala sa Diyos," words deeply lived by and cherished by every Mila's Lechon team and family member. These words have been frequently reminded and relentlessly embodied by the founders, Serafin and Antonina, as well as it's current generation of innovators paving to cotinuously improve and grow while maintaining a worldclass Filipino tradition alive in its heart of service and production of food quality in exquisite goodness.
